My Personal Testimony:
"The Man Who Could Hardly Walk to the Mail Box"
My name is Frank Seeley; I have had major health setbacks since January 2005, beginning with Cardiac Double By-Pass. Because of poor diet and 14 medications to offset a myriad of new symptoms including newly developed Diabetes Type II and High Blood Pressure, I ballooned in weight up to 275 pounds in December 2009. No clothes fit me anymore, I looked and felt like I was at deaths door. I had severe edema around my ankles and my feet. My lower legs and feet turned blue and I lost all nerve sensations, I was always cold. I searched for NEW doctors.
Under recommendation from my New Primary Care physician, Dr. Howard Weiss M.D. (Morristown, NJ), I began to take better care of myself. I watched what I ate, how often and how much of a portion was on my plate.
By February 2009, I weighed 258 pounds and still felt somewhat lousy but looked better.
Again, my Primary Doctor, Dr.Weiss M.D. asked me to do more to lessen the effects on my body that over weight causes, he referred me to Doctor Joel Fuhrman M.D. in Flemington, NJ for consultation. Dr. Fuhrman, evaluated me and my medications,he took me off some, adjusted dosages down in others.
Currently as of today April 7th, 2009, I weigh 224 pounds and I feel great. I have a spring in my step, my breathing and COPD has lessened, and I sleep much better. My goal with Dr. Fuhrman is to get to 200 pounds (down from 275 pounds a loss of 75 pounds).
Here is what I did to lose my weight under Dr. Fuhrman's care: I eat no dairy, no animal protein, I get my nutrition and protien from fresh green vegetables, nuts, beans, tofu, and some fruits. I follow his strict instructions and I feel wonderful.
I notice that I no longer have cravings of any kind, I no longer snore, I feel like I am 15 years younger than 63 yrs of age. I highly recommend Dr. Fuhrman M.D., to you and those that you know.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention these facts to you.
